24th Kojika Spring Tournament

On Saturday, April 30th, our dojo took part in the 24th edition of the tournament organized by Kojika in Ghent. This year, 151 kids and juniors coming over from 9 different countries joined the event.

Our participants did very well and some of them even got a medal in their category. All showed their best kendo and found some new tips to work on to improve their knowledge.

Thanks a lot to the parents, manager and referees for helping and supporting the juniors! Without you all this is impossible!

European Kendo Championships 2016

From March 31st to April 3rd, the EKF organized its annual European Kendo Championships. This year, the hosting country was Macedonia in their capital Skopje.

Several of our dojo members took part in different divisions and … Belgium won the individual men competition!

Our member, Kensaku Maemoto, was the strongest player at the final day of the tournament. Big congratulations to him but also to all the delegation members (including supporters!).

Another good reason to keep on practising strongly at every training!
