Last Sunday, June 26th, we had once again our annual BBQ in Genval at the home of Dany. Despite the changing weather, around 85 people could enjoy this returning activity. Dojo will close soon for a few weeks but let’s continue training ourselves by suburi and visiting seminars and other dojo…
On Saturday, April 30th, our dojo took part in the 24th edition of the tournament organized by Kojika in Ghent. This year, 151 kids and juniors coming over from 9 different countries joined the event.
Our participants did very well and some of them even got a medal in their category. All showed their best kendo and found some new tips to work on to improve their knowledge.
Thanks a lot to the parents, manager and referees for helping and supporting the juniors! Without you all this is impossible!
From March 31st to April 3rd, the EKF organized its annual European Kendo Championships. This year, the hosting country was Macedonia in their capital Skopje.
Several of our dojo members took part in different divisions and … Belgium won the individual men competition!
Our member, Kensaku Maemoto, was the strongest player at the final day of the tournament. Big congratulations to him but also to all the delegation members (including supporters!).
Another good reason to keep on practising strongly at every training!
Dear members, following the events in Brussels today, we took the decision to cancel tomorrow’s training (March 23rd). Thanks for your understanding!
On Sunday, March 13th, our federation organized their annual championships for Dan-holders. Three individual categories and a team competition took place in Ixelles.
Our dojo results are brillant:

A big “Thanks You” to all participants for your commitment! Pictures will be published when those who made any send them in…
Next wednesday, December 9th 2015, Hirakawa sensei will visit our dojo. May we invite all our adult members to do their best to join this practise?
